Who We Are
Meet the Team
Linchpin Operations came to life after we saw organizations with passion and ideas struggle when they lacked the necessary skills or funding to bring their ideas to life. With experience in these critical functions, we committed to working alongside nonprofits to support their mission goals.

Headquarters
With a background working cross-functionally in startups and nonprofits, my passion is creating order out of disorder and finding funding to make projects happen.
My career spans the private sector and the humanitarian sector, with impactful work among several cross-border organizations focused on Burma.
I specialize in the unromantic side of administration — 501c3 formation, legal compliance, audit preparation, and office operations — as well as grant research and writing. My skills lie in creative ways to enable the flow of data and ideas among field & office staff, donors, and partners. I have also helped both for- and non-profits with marketing, budgeting, project management, and IT.

Field
My guiding principle is “go where needed, do what’s needed.”
I have worked across complex environments including Syria, Burma, and parts of Africa, and been deeply embedded alongside local ethnic groups in harsh conditions. My observations on cross-border and cross-cultural work have been published as two books in 2016 and 2021, as well as featured on BBC Radio 4, The Small Wars Journal, National Interest, The Spectator, Overt Defense, and other publications.
I specialize in field work and project implementation alongside ethnic minorities as well as situational military analysis.
